Our renowned dental hygienists, dental assistants, receptionist and dentists in Halifax are committed to educating you about our services and treatments. All hailing from Nova Scotia, our dentists are keen on good Nova Scotian food while maintaining healthy smiles. Dr. Leonard Fifield

Dentist

Dr. Leonard Fifield is a native of Sydney, Nova Scotia. He is a graduate of Mount Allison University (BA) and Dalhousie University (DDS). Dr. Fifield's first pratice was located in Sydney in 1981. Five years later, he moved to Halifax and has been with the Bayer's Road Dental Centre since then. He maintains a keen interest in all aspects of general dentistry, combining his years of experience with the latest advances and technologies available. Dr. Fifield and his dental team attend numerous continuing education courses each year with the purpose of providing their patients with the best techniques dentistry has to offer in a caring and friendly environment.

Outside of his professional career, Dr. Fifield enjoys spending time with his family, playing guitar, and following the New England Patriots.

Dr. Patrick Cullinan

Dentist

Dr. Cullinan was born and raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He graduated from Saint Mary's University with a Bachelor Of Science Degree (cum laude) in 1993 and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from Dalhousie University in 1998. Upon graduation, Patrick and his wife, Heidi, moved to Fort St. John, British Columbia where he practiced all aspects of General Dentistry including doing Dental Implants and Cosmetic Dentistry and he served as President of the Peace River and District Dental Society from 1999 until 2009. Patrick enjoyed the northern climate with his young family by participating in many winter sports, including Curling. The 'community feel' of the area reminded him of home and, eventually, he moved back to Halifax to be closer to his extended family and friends.

Apart from the passion Patrick has for dentistry, he also is a sports enthusiast and coaches his daughter's basketball team. He is happiest spending time with his family and he will enjoy hearing about yours.

Dr. Jennifer Peddle

Dentist

Dr. Jennifer Peddle is from Halifax, NS. She completed a Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Microbiology and Immunology at Dalhousie University in 2004. She also completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Dalhousie University in 2008, earning the University Medal in Dentistry. Jennifer enjoys all areas of general dentistry, especially esthetic dentistry, extractions, and implant dentistry. She is certified to provide Nitrous Oxide Sedation, and is a trained Invisalign (clear braces) provider. She is committed to providing high quality oral health care for patients in a relaxing environment. Ethical practice is of highest importance to her, and she cares for her patients like they are family.

Dr. Peddle is an active learner and regularly enrolls in continuing education courses to stay current with best treatment practices. She has been an active member of the Halifax County Dental Society since 2010, and, is also a member of the local Seattle Study Club. In her spare time, Dr. Peddle enjoys spending time with her husband and three children. She also loves to travel, take family vacations, and spend time outdoors.
