Dr. Evan Mercer is a General Dentist at Bayers Road Dental in Halifax
Originally from Saint John, New Brunswick, Dr. Evan Mercer discovered his passion for dentistry in high school and has been committed to the profession ever since. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Dalhousie University in 2022, following a Bachelor of Science in Biology from St. Francis Xavier University.
After graduating, Dr. Mercer completed a General Practice Residency at the University of Alberta, where he gained advanced training in surgical extractions, sedation dentistry, implant planning and placement, and caring for medically complex patients in a hospital setting.
Dr. Mercer has been practicing in Nova Scotia for the past two years and is now proud to be a partner at Bayers Road Dental. He is actively involved in local dental associations, study clubs, and continuing education.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Mercer enjoys running, cycling, and golfing—and has even completed a few marathons. He loves the outdoors and continues to explore everything Nova Scotia has to offer.
